Things to Do in and Around Sylva, NC

Sylva is a small town with plenty to do and see! Browse Sylva’s main street with independent shops and galleries for unique finds, a variety of restaurants, and four walkable breweries that host weekly events like live music, trivia, and even yoga. Outdoor adventures include seeing the Elk in Cherokee, Panthertown Valley, Dill Falls, Silver Run Falls (great swimming for the kids), Pinnacle Park Trail, Mingus Mill, the Mountain Farm Museum and more. For kids, check out the kid’s bike park at Tuck Greenway!

Larger nearby attractions include Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Harrah’s Cherokee Hotel and Casino, Nantahala Outdoor Center, Great Smoky Mountain National Park- all within a 25 min drive.
