The organizers know how to present a great shindig since they have hosted the big LEAF Festival twice a year in Black Mountain for more than 20 years. Their belief is that music and art have the power to cross all social and cultural boundaries and bring people together to learn, grow, and celebrate our diversity through creativity. The day will be dedicated to local youth, family, and community. Enjoy cultural youth performances, dance classes, roaming artists, bounce houses, youth competition finalists, and activities like renting kayaks, paddleboards, and canoes.

To complete the festive environment, there'll be roaming kids artists, puppets, jugglers, face painting, and circus arts.

Bring your blanket or chair and plenty of sunscreen. However, LEAF encourages biking and walking to the event. This event has a suggested donation of $10, but children are admitted free.
