Biltmore Village Art & Craft Fair

August 5-6, 2017
The 45th annual Village Art and Craft Fair continues a long tradition of bringing high quality crafts to Biltmore Village. Presented by New Morning Gallery and Bellagio Art-to-Wear, the outdoors art festival is on the grounds of the Cathedral of All Souls in Biltmore Village. (Take a look inside the beautiful church while you are there.)

The fair features 114 artists from 17 states, with full spectrum of craft media available to purchase in all price ranges - jewelry, ceramic, wood, fiber, metals, two-dimensional art and more. Discover new artists (29 are first-time exhibitors). Talk with crafters one-on-one. Some 40 artists are from Western North Carolina.

Thousands of shoppers come from all across the southeast to stroll through the fair. Over the years, their reputation as one of the finest craft fairs in the area has spread (along with the ubiquitous cat posters and T-shirts). Starting with the 9th year, a cat has been in every posters’ design. John Cram, the fair's coordinator, says “The public is always anticipating what the design will be as they anticipate the fair itself.”

Fair hours are Saturday 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday Noon to 5 PM, rain or shine. There is no admission fee. Homemade sandwiches and sweets are available at church sponsored concession booths with proceeds benefiting the Cathedral's Outreach program.
