Jennifer Rose, Editor & Social Media
Jen’s passion for the WNC region comes from her personal experience in camping, hiking, and exploring the region with her kids. An Atlanta native, Jen traded city life for mountain life in 2010 with a move to Boone, NC. One visit to Asheville changed everything and Jen knew this unique city in the mountains would be where her family would put its roots down.

Before joining the team at RomanticAsheville.com, Jen co-founded Asheville Date Night Guide, where she served as editor and social media manager, sharing her enthusiasm for Asheville's fun and quirky culture and fun dates ideas. Jen joined RomanticAsheville.com as Editor in April of 2019, working closely with founder Mark File for a year to learn from the pro! Jen now maintains the 900+ page site, including content expansions, annual site-wide updates, social media marketing, and partner promotions. Her commitment to upholding RA's brand and reputation as a reliable resource for both visitors and locals of the region comes first.
When she’s not working, Jen's hobbies include hiking with dogs, growing food, raising backyard chickens, or delving into a complicated new hobby. Few things make her happier than playing in the dirt (gardening) and camping.
