Asheville Visitor Center

Asheville Visitor Information Center

Your first stop in Asheville should be the Visitor Center on the edge of downtown at 36 Montford Avenue near I-240, exit 4C. Housed in the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce headquarters, the center offers comprehensive information services for travelers. Their very knowledgeable staff will help with directions and give you plenty of maps and brochures. Their store has the best selection of Asheville souvenirs in town. The center also has free parking, city tours, WiFi Internet access, and rotating exhibits. Open every day: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM and Saturday-Sunday, 9 AM-5 PM.

An additional information center is in the Pack Square Park Pavilion in the middle of downtown. This smaller location is staffed by friendly volunteers to answer your questions. Located at 121 College Street, they are open everyday, 9 AM-5 PM.
