Spend an evening with the wolves at WNC Nature Center in Asheville. As the sun sets, a guide leads your group through the red and gray wolf habitats and shares stories about these animals. Between tours, kids can play wolf-themed games, make crafts, and enter the costume contest at 7 pm. Costumes must be family-friendly. 

The event is designed for ages 5–12, but the whole family is welcome. Children must come with an adult. Pick from two tour times when you register: 6:15  or 7:15 pm. Everyone should arrive by 6 pm. Doors open at 5:45 pm. 

Tickets are non-refundable. If there's severe weather, the event moves to Oct. 24.
