Rediscover the joy of gathering around the game board this holiday season at Grovewood Gallery's "Top of Their Game: Handcrafted Games by Master Makers," on view November 14 through December 31, 2026. This special invitational exhibition showcases beautifully crafted board games, tabletop games, and puzzles from accomplished artists across the country. 

Each piece invites hands-on interaction—far from mass-produced entertainment, these works are meant to be touched, played, and shared. Some encourage quiet strategy, while others spark lively competition and conversation, celebrating how play brings people together across generations. 

Kick off the exhibition at the free opening reception on November 14, from 2-5 PM. Located in Asheville's historic Grovewood Village beside Omni Grove Park Inn, Grovewood Gallery has celebrated American art and craft since 1992. Admission and parking are always free.
