For more than 40 years, Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church has welcomed Asheville to its annual Greek Festival in the historic Montford District. Fill up on homemade Greek favorites like lamb shank, pastichio, spanakopita, gyros, souvlaki, and baklava, all made by the church’s yia-yias. Between bites, watch traditional Greek dancing, take a cooking class, tour the church, and shop the Agora for local and imported goods. Admission is $5 at the gate, and kids 12 and under get in free.
