WNC Nature Center and Highland Brewing team up for a new 21+ evening. Start with a tasting of Cold Mountain, Highland's seasonal winter ale. Then follow a guide to the red and gray wolf habitats for a tour after dark. Before you leave, you'll get a couple of bottles of Cold Mountain to enjoy later. 

There's a local connection behind this year's beer. Highland's design team visited the Nature Center's wolves, and those visits inspired the art on the 2026 Cold Mountain label. 

IDs are checked at the door. You'll get details by email the week of the event. Tickets are non-refundable. If there's severe weather, the event moves to Nov. 21. 

Note on directions The road to the Nature Center has changed. Azalea Road is now two-way up to a new roundabout, with traffic lights at the one-lane metal bridge.
