Duggers Ceek Falls, NC Waterfall

Duggers Creek Falls, Blue Ridge Parkway

Duggers Creek Falls is a small 10-foot waterfall is tucked away in a beautiful cove a short walk from the Linville Falls Visitor Center on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our photos are after a good bit of rain, so the flow can be much less during drier weather.

The Duggers Creek Trail is only 3/10 mile. From the Visitor Center, walk up the Plunge Basin Trail a short distance and turn left. Or you can access the trail at the far corner of the parking lot (near the entrance to the parking area to the left as you drive in). The easy trail takes you down by some rocks to a small wooden bridge that provides the view in the photo to the right. Stop here to see Dugger Creek Falls on one side and other cascades on the other. Along the way, enjoy lush foliage, wildflowers and mushrooms. Continue on this trail, and you will come out on the road near the bridge that you drove across to get into the parking lot. There's a great view of the cascading creek from the road bridge as well.
