Brews & Bears at the WNC Nature Center—10th Anniversary Season
Ten years in, Brews & Bears remains one of Asheville's most beloved warm-weather traditions. This after-hours series pairs craft beer, cider, and wine with food trucks, live music, and up-close animal education programs on the second Friday of each month from May through September. It runs from 5:30 to 8 pm, leaving plenty of time to experience Asheville's restaurant scene or just stroll downtown.
Purchase Brews and Bears tickets at the WNC Nature Center website.

The anniversary season introduces a new VIP experience featuring designated parking, early entry, a private animal program, one drink token, a commemorative koozie, and express drink line access. New themed merchandise will also be available for the first time. Among the highlights: watching resident black bears Uno and Ursa enjoy frozen fish, fruit, and ice popsicle enrichment on warm summer evenings.

Over a decade, Brews & Bears has raised several hundred thousand dollars supporting animal care, habitat renovations, and conservation education. Beer tokens are available for purchase in advance at a discount when you purchase your ticket online. Drink stations will accept cash or credit cards each night.

Admission prices are: Members $15, Non-members $20, Children $10, VIP $50–$55. Ages 2 & under free. Dates are May 8, June 12, July 10, August 14, and September 11. Hours: 5:30–8 pm.
