North Carolina's longest-running Shakespeare Festival kicks off its 2026 season with a beloved classic, The Wizard of Oz, at the Hazel Robinson Amphitheatre. Bring a lawn chair, picnic basket, and bug spray. Hat passed at intermission; free to attend but there is a suggested $10 donation. Chair rental available. May 1–30, 2026. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 7:30 pm (final weekend Friday–Saturday only).
