Asheville Junior Theater is kicking The Wizard of Oz up a notch with a bluegrass/Appalachian/Asheville adaptation of the original. It’s the classic story with a creative twist in a very familiar setting. Featuring local Bluegrass band The Well Drinkers, who combine traditional roots of their Appalachian region with progressive instrumentation and songwriting, this show will knock your socks off. Four show times: January 20, 2024, at 2 PM and 6 PM; January 21, 2024, at 2 PM and 6 PM.
