
Experience quintessential traditional mountain life with Appalachian dance, music, food, arts and crafts in the beautiful Nantahala National Forest at Stecoah Valley, near Fontana Lake and Robbinsville. This is a two-day event beginning at 6 pm on Friday with a campfire, marshamallows, and storytelling. Bring a chair! Saturday includes a day full of family fun (music, dancing, food, heritage demonstrations,, a quilt show, pie contest, face painting, pumpkin bowling, a scavenger hunt). The festival ends at 4 pm on Saturday. Book your camping spot or lodging and make a weekend of it!
