Enter for a chance to witness synchronous fireflies and blue ghost fireflies during the annual multi-night Grandfather Glows event. The event is accessible for people with limited mobility or in a wheelchair. Lottery entries are $5 per person; winners can purchase up to six tickets. (Ticket prices $40-50.) Winners notified May 29 and June 3. No waiting list. The 2026 Grandfather Glows dates are: Tuesday, June 16, with a rain date of Wednesday, June 17; Thursday, June 18, with a rain date of Friday, June 19; Saturday, June 20, with a rain date of Sunday, June 21.
