Sierra Nevada's Oktoberfest, Mills River

Hoist your stein at Oktoberfest Mills River, a German-inspired festival at Sierra Nevada's  big brewery south of Asheville with music, glassblowing, stache competition, souvenir stein, special brews and German feast (brats, kraut, pretzels and more). The ticketed event is for ages 21 and up, running from 5 - 10 PM. This event typically sells out, so buy tickets in advance!

Entertainment
Enjoy live music featuring spirited Polka favorites, classic songs, funk, rock, R&B and more. Lineup includes Turkuaz, The Business and The Polk Brothers. Watch live glass blowing demonstrations by local artists, with auctions benefitting the Asheville Area Arts Council. Enter fun contests, including the "chickend dance" and  “flash your stache!”

This year’s event is expected to sell out, so purchase advance tickets on Sierra Nevada’s website. Tickets are $32 per person and includes a German dinner and commemorative stein. Not drinking? Designated driver tickets are $27 per person. Get more details and buy tickets now
