Grand Bohemian Hotel, Asheville, Marks Successful First Year

Lobby of Grand Bohemian - Anniversary Package to Celebrate Milestone

(April 2010) Opening in a time of challenge for the hospitality industry, the Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville is completing its inaugural year by marking its successes and moving on to an even more distinguished future.

“Springtime 2009 vaulted the Grand Bohemian to a profitable first year. During its first twelve months of operation visitors to Asheville embraced the unique personality and beauty of the hotel, and more are discovering it every day. The Red Stag Grill has exceeded expectations, thanks to local residents who have enthusiastically supported the restaurant and lounge,” said Richard C. Kessler, CEO of The Kessler Collection.

Since opening its doors on April 1, 2009, the Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville has earned AAA Four-diamond status and been named Best New Hotel for Romance by About.com. On March 25 it became part of Marriott’s new Autograph Collection, a diverse group of high-personality independent hotels.

To mark the hotel’s milestone, Grand Bohemian Hotel General Manager John Luckett is offering guests a special Anniversary Package. The package includes champagne on arrival, a two-night stay, breakfast for two daily in the Red Stag Grill, two tickets to the Biltmore Estate, two 50-minute treatments in the Poseidon Spa, a box of Mitch Kolbe gift cards and two logo’d glasses. Package prices start at $374 per night weekday and $410 per night weekend.

"We’ve had an amazing first year. I thank all the guests who experienced the inspiring Grand Bohemian Hotel, as well as our local friends for their support. I’m especially grateful for our team of Grand Performers who consistently delivered a high level of personalized and intuitive guest service. Through their hard work and dedication, we’ve created something very special in Asheville,” Luckett said.

The Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville is located at 11 Boston Way in the heart of Asheville’s Biltmore Village. For more, see our Grand Bohemian Hotel Review.
