(February 2007) Biltmore is one of America's favorite architectural wonders according to a public poll of the 150 best works of architecture conducted and released today by Harris Interactive and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). "It is an honor to be included with such outstanding architecture greats. As someone who works at Biltmore House every day, it has never lost the awe factor," said Rick King, vice president of Biltmore House. "From the square footage that makes it America's largest home to the attention to the architectural details to the stories behind the walls, it was a unique vision of George Vanderbilt that developed into an extraordinary attraction."
